If you set Incident Management application preferences "Reopen in Current" for "After New Save", the newly created incident will come back up in a window that you can continue editing. You would then add the additional entries to the Work Info simply by adding each entry and clicking the Save button for each one. When you're doing with the Incident, you can then close it and move on.
