Hi Mark I think this is discussed in the BMC Atrium documentation - it was covered as part of the Atrium 7.5 What's New course ... so I think that is where you could probably find more info regarding this

The field I am referring to is on the Incident form, Service*+. I understand services are CI’s and need to be related, and I am able to create these and get them to work, but I would like to better understand how and why they work.
