Technically all.. Delete it all, then reapply licenses for the current
server.. Also delete everything from the Server Ranking form..

Restart the server after reconfiguring the server group to a new name you
want for your pre-production even though that may be the only server in that
new server group. Do not forget about the manual configurations that you
require to do on your ar.conf (ar.cfg if on windows) file for that new
server group.

On restart, these forms will automatically get repopulated with all the
relevant server group related options.. The server ranking form will also be
populated with all the relevant entries (used to be 10 with 6.3, I think its
14 now on 7.5??). Open the server ranking form and assign the rank for each
operation that you desire for that server (1 for all if that's the only
server).. If there is more than one server in the pre-production node,
repeat the same exercise.. use the new server group name you chose for the
first server...

Subject: server group config tables (ARS 7.1 patch04)

  ** Dear all,

We sat up a preproduction remedy server (cloned from one of the
production nodes in a server group) and we also copied the server group
remedy database. We managed to get the preproduction server working along
with EIE and the rest of the services.. However some of the objects (server
group tables in particular) are still being references at server start up
(at least). In the Admin tool, I still see the server group name being read
from
servgrp_config table etc... I Did a select on sysobjects and saw the
followings:

        servgrp_config
        servgrp_applic
        servgrp_board
        servgrp_op_mstr
        servgrp_userlic

So the question is which of the above 's data can be removed without
compromising the system. Are there any other forms /tables e.g (server
operation ranking) whose data needs to be updated to bear the new
configuration for the new server.

        Many thanks
        frex
