I will reserve judgment until my users it out, but thanks for potentially exceeding my expectations.

I've been able to actually load the screens, but it is broken. However, I was reading earlier that you have to have Crystal or Business Objects installed on your Mid Tier in order to have it install (correctly?), and I have neither. Based on what I've read of other people's experiences on the BMCDN and ARSList, it looks like I'm going to have to convince my Business Objects folks to let me run the installer on their server to try to get the AR Web Report Viewer there. I hope BMC fixes web-based reporting by the time 8.0 rolls around. Reporting has always been one of the weakest things about Remedy, and despite all the money we threw at BMC Analytics, they have done very little to bring their reporting tools out of the 1980's. If so, does a web server (i.e. IIS, Apache, Etc) exist on that server? If it does not, the option to install will not exist in the installer. HTH Leonard Neely Column Technologies, Inc. From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pierson, Shawn Sent: Monday, August 02, 2010 10:41 AM To: [email protected] Subject: ARWebReportViewer on 7.5? ** It is a Monday, so it's possible that I am just being dense but I found a section of BMC's Installation Guide for ARS 7.5 with the following statement: You can install the ARWebReportViewer alone on a separate server. (Run the suite installer, and choose only the AR Crystal Web Application option.) The ARWebReportViewer is for Windows only. See the BMC Remedy Mid Tier Guide for more information. I've looked through the installer several times, and there is no "AR Crystal Web Application" referenced anywhere. I've looked at both the original and a couple of installers of the patches, and it seems to simply not exist in ARS 7.5.
