Having a curious problem. (Or set of problems I suppose) I'm attempting to DSO between two servers, one is running 7.0.01 Patch 011 200906180730, and the other is running 7.5.00 Patch 005 201005111542
In one direction, (7.0.1 -> 7.5) I can create records via Distributed Transfer, but so far, only using core fields and character fields. Integer, Decimal, Real Number fields, Drop-downs and any others are left blank even though they're mapped. Also, updates fail with ARERR 338 (Distrib : Duplicate Entry ID for merged item and do not create a new ID was specified) In the other direction, (7.5 -> 7.0.1) I cannot even create records via Distributed Transfer, because of ARDSERR 303 (** ERROR ** Form does not exist on server). The destination form does exist on the server, and I have verified the DSO passwords are set correctly on both machines (to test: if I re-register the 7.0.1 DSO server's password on the 7.5 server's "connection settings" tab, I get ARDSERR 623 (Distrib : Authentication failed) until I set it back to the correct value, whereupon the ARDSERR 303 returns) Has anyone out there attempted and implemented DSO between these server versions? _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug10 www.wwrug.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
