Running DSO bidirectionally between 7.1 and 7.5 - I did run into a problem
with passwords - if you enter them through the system admin screens, they
don't encrypt properly - compare the encrypted pwds in the conf files and
make sure they are identical - I ended up doing a cut and paste in the conf
file directly to get them to sync up.

For the rest of the questions (fields not going over, etc) are you using
custom mappings or like ID's?  If like ID's make sure the field ID's match
up.  If you're using custom mappings, verify all the fields you want are
there.

Also, there is a setting in the mappings as to what to do with duplicate
records (ie overwrite, create new, error).  See what that is set to in the
mapping you are executing.

You've probably done some or all of the above, but without seeing the
mappings, etc it's just some general suggestions.
