Oh that's not good then. Sync will not work because it is taking the
CMDB class and creating/ updating the AST form with CMDB changes. I
think you need to rip out CMDB and reinstall it, there is no telling
what else may be missing seeing as how Computer System is missing.

Hi Tommy,

If I check in Atrium Core Console and try an compare instances I
cannot find BMC_ComputerSystem Class. Something seems to have broken
somewehere. I will try running the sync UI and update more. But is there
any way to restore so the system since we dont have any backup's for
more than 2 days. (its a Dev environment). But we cannot proceed with
the production box until this issue is fixed.

 Thanks for all your help.

Try running the Sync UI utility and see if that true's things up for
you. Check schema names to makes sure that it is there too.

Hi Everyone,

My trip down the arerror.log yielded the following error.

Thu Oct 14 15:38:52 2010 390600 : Error encountered while initializing
(Initialization routine) the shared library (ARERR 9755)
Thu Oct 14 15:38:52 2010 bmc.cmdb.cmdbEngine
Thu Oct 14 15:38:52 2010 390600 : Class does not exist. :
BMC_COMPUTERSYSTEM (ARERR 120002)

But I can see the BMC_ComputerSystem and all the related forms and
access them. Does it mean that something has been corrupted in the CMDB
structure? Please let me know your inputs.

 Thank you all

 Siva
