I'm going through the BMC site looking for change management documentation but I cannot find anything related to "best practices" on how it is intended to use certain fields in the application. Specifically "Change Type". i.e.: Change, Asset Configuration, Asset Management, Asset Maintenance and so on.. does anybody know what document or where I might find good reads related to this? I've looked at the concepts guide, the CM user guide, etc.. to no avail.
I am trying to better define what is a "Change" versus "Maintenance" versus "Administration"... (this while wearing my Change Mgmt hat)..
