Are both prod and dev servers pointing to the same LDAP server with the same
credentials? Also, are both production and dev running the same server and
patch levels?

Sounds like some oddity in the LDAP/ARDBC configuration - at least that
would be the first place I looked. Check the timestamp on the
ardbcldap.dll/so tomake sure both servers have the same version. Also,
verify the API calls being made by the Active Link vs Filter using the API
logging. It may relate to some difference in the call being made (GE vs
GLEWF, for example).

Check it out and let us know what you've found.
