On *nix systems it's the
/opt/bmc/ARSystem/midtier/resources/<browser>/javascript/ClientCore.js
file.  Make sure you make a backup and then edit it with an editor that
supports long lines and search for "320" which is defined for the Diary and
Character expand box windows.  Changing that 320 to a larger value will make
the expand box larger everytime the user clicks the expand icon.
