Are they having a problem because they open Remedy using some kind of Citrix like process? That would possibly try to login from different machines if each attempt went to a different Citrix server. There should not be any issue on having multiple windows open (once they have logged in).
As a test try the following. Put a button on a form that does a Window Open action (open a Search or Submit window with a target location of New). That should open a new browser window with the Remedy form. The user will then have 2 browser windows open with Remedy forms in each. Hello fellow Listers, We have been trying to figure out a way, in the Mid-Tier to allow our users the ability to open several windows at the same time via a single login session. I heard there is now a way to do this with the latest version of the Mid-Tier. We are currently using version 7.1 and to date we have not been successful. Roughly 50 percent of our users opens two Windows clients at the same time and cut and paste from one a current inventory record on one window to a new record on another window, all day long, which represents about 75% of their daily workload. Before we can go totally all web-only we need to have this ability. Like I said we are currently using 7.1 but are holding off on upgrading to 7.6.4 until we can confirm that the latest version of the Mid-Tier has the ability to open several windows at the same time via a single login session. Can anyone here either confirm or dispute that?
