I hit that when I added the users to the approver role in 7.6 - I needed to expand the members list field from 255, to 512 and even beyond that. Wasn't a big deal. Of course that particular issue gave me an error when I was adding the person to the role so I knew about it. Didn't just cut it off.

BMC approval mappings doesn’t prevent you from creating more then the system will allow, i.e. they have no validation workflow to insure you’re not exceeding the limit in that approval phase. Has anyone else come across this limitation? Do you think BMC will treat this as a defect or an RFC? Does anyone know if this limitation is fixed in later versions?
