Thanks. I am familiar with Core, Explorer, managing CIs, etc. That is not
where I am having trouble. I am looking to manage CI data and allow some
users to manage CI data through the ITSM interface. I am afraid the
limitation may be the AST and related forms.  It appears that you can't
manage CI data with an Asset license.  If that is true, it makes CMDB
practically useless from Incident, Problem, and without an Asset license.
