We have created some custom workflow on the email messages form which will push it to a staging form when a message with particular subject entere remedy inbox. In the staging form we wrote some more custom workflow to do several validations and then to a push fields to the approval record with approve/reject. At the same time we also push it to the change workinfo entry so we will have a proof that it has been approved by email.
