I’ve had many issues with Migrator 7.6.4 for workflow. The quick explanation is that it migrates your code, but randomly drops permissions on Active Links and I seem to recall it caused some problems with View and/or Vendor forms as well. Unfortunately there was no indication that there were problems until we started testing the migrated code.
My opinion is to stick with DEF files since that is a much more reliable technique.
