This is only the second job that I've had that required a clearance, and my
company sponsored and got me the clearance...so the current lack of a clearance
IS NOT a hindrance...simply the lack of a ability to get one would be...reading
earlier today regarding what it takes the synopsis was along the lines of

1 - Be a US Citizen
2 - Have lead a 'relatively' clean life

The company I worked through this time suggested that I wait till my interim
clearance come through before even giving my notice at my last job.

Seems that may be the real issue!!! Something to do with no path for upgrades
on ITSM on v7.5. I guess an interviewee will want to see your documentation
... lol

Personally I think it has more to do with the clearance requirements, not
everyone has been as lucky to have that provided.

The nice part is, that even after you move, we can find you ..... :)

Of course....do you consider upgrading a 7.5 heavily customized ITSM to
8.0 enough....how about that it's going into a new virtual environment that
they would be part of standing up, to include standup and configuration of the
load balancers in question....tons to do :)

Yeah, you did leave something for your successor to do besides not
break anything, right? ;-)

Now, that may well be the case...I hadn't thought about
how my poor reputation on the list might tarnish a prospective applicant's
willingness to even apply.
