I was talking this morning with someone at my health club about Maxine Waters' statement yesterday that we would lose 170 million jobs - which is more than we actually have - and how anyone so stupid could get themselves elected to Congress. And the other one who thought that an island (Guam) might capsize if we removed a bunch of people from it.
I actually figured this out a few years back. No offense to Sales people out there - you perform a useful function - but many ended up in sales because they weren't good enough at anything else, like computers, for instance, to make a decent living at it. Politicians, regardless of any other skills they might have, are really good at one thing - selling themselves. Some of them also aren't good enough at anything else to do anything else. Keep that in mind next election, when asked to vote for someone whose vote will be affecting what YOU are good at and they are not. Like spending money wisely, for instance.
