It must be some bad query in that escalation that is updating wrong records.

Well...I hate to state the obvious...but you apparently have an escalation
running @ around 1 AM that is setting it there.  Either through object
relationships, ARInside, or some other documentation tool, you should be
able to find an escalation that's pushing the status...then find out if
there is something on the other end that's causing them to be set to that
specific status.

certain users will become Obsolete and/or changed to Non-Support personnel
for no apparent reason.  

 

We use AD integration and have not had any trigger events for any of their
profiles, however Audit logs for these agents show:
