Hey - What's more important here - BMC Going to a private equity firm or the resurrection (ok, so not until the fall) of the Twinkie? Hopefully they will be back on the shelves before the next RUG. They just have to wait until the union contract expires - then the new owner of the brand can start the factories back up.
My guess is they will start by simply packaging all the old ones laying around. From what I hear, those things never get old. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Claire Sanford" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, May 7, 2013 2:40:50 PM Subject: Re: huh? financial news for bmc ? ** I didn’t even know they did an IPO From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of arslist Sent: Tuesday, May 07, 2013 1:09 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: huh? financial news for bmc ? ** Not April 1 st , and take a look on line and you can see the record of transactions since they fall under insider trading regulations. The directors have taken out hundreds of millions since last November. Please Note: I am not suggesting that these transactions are illegal since I don’t know US laws or what goes around what is appropriate or not, and there are SEC filings around these trades.
