play with it in Dev....create an overlay on a form that doesn't have one,
overlay a drop down selection field creating view overlays as necessary,
get everything working just fine, then go back and delete all of the view
overlays and see if everything is still working (that's what I did, and it
worked just fine)....then when you are done with your playing around,
delete the overlay in question (because it was just a sandbox anyway) and
you are no worse for wear.
