Hi LJ,
My first job out of college was as an Asst. Salesman (that was the title at the time) for a big manufacturer. At the first National Sales Meeting I attended, the Chairman of the company was talking with a group of young salesmen and told the following joke: Did you hear about the farmer who had a watermelon patch. Every night, kids who come into the patch and steal a watermelon or two. To fix the problem, he came up with a plan. He put up a sign which said "One watermelon in this patch is poisoned" and went to bed feeling satisfied. When he got up the next morning, he went to the watermelon patch to see if any of the watermelons had been stolen. They hadn't, but now there was a 2nd sign: "Now two watermelons in this patch are poisoned." I don't know how that will fit into your thoughts but I thought I throw it out there. That image seems strange and yet...not, all at the same time....I need a vacation....I guess I'll huddle around a bunch of geeks next week at RUG to see if that helps my 'computer field' vision :) On Thu, Sep 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM, John Sundberg <[email protected]> wrote: ** Where would you work? -John -- John Sundberg Kinetic Data, Inc.
