I just have to comment this makes me happy. I am also still stubbornly clinging to the 7.6.04 User Tool. :)

Every time I install a newer Dev Studio (like the recent 8.101 upgrade), I re-install my 7.6.04 User.exe because the newer stuff sometimes breaks it and I refuse to give it up. It still works against the newer servers, at least for now. I still do my table exports from User because I find the web interface to be click-happy and clunky.
