Doesn’t that bump up against the limitation of not being directly tied into Asset Management though? My understanding is that I could export the AM data to import into MyIT but it would have to be maintained separately to keep MyIT up to date if a printer is added or removed. That doesn’t happen often so that may not be a problem but I’d prefer to see it happen in a more integrated manner.

The bar/qr code could be generated basing on the serial number value in the asset record in Remedy Asset Management. I'm actually just about to hit the install button for a POC environment that I've created, however we are only evaluating Smart IT as we have Kinetic Data for our request tools. The one thing that you mentioned already and I don't really like is that you have to install both MyIT and Smart IT. I wish these were different choices within the installer. Will provide an update later this week on how things are going. _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org<http://www.arslist.org> "Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years" _ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" and have been for 20 years_ Private and confidential as detailed here: http://www.energytransfer.com/mail_disclaimer.aspx .
