I just recently upgraded from Artifactory 2.3 to Artifactory 3.0.4. I followed the upgrade instructions as indicated on http://www.jfrog.com/confluence/display/RTF/Upgrading+Artifactory for upgrading from Version 2.2.x and higher. I exported my system to a location on the hard drive. I installed a new instance of Artifactory to a new location, created a new service, and started the server (note: I didn't define a new database, I just used the default settings). After I imported my backed up service, I noticed it didn't overwrite the old system (stored at $USER_HOME$/.artifactory). $USER_HOME$/.artifactory is now double in size on the server's hard drive even though Artifactory is reporting the correct nunmber of artifacts.
Is there anything I can do to free up the space on the hard drive? Was I supposed to remove the old system ($USER_HOME$/.artifactory) prior to upgrading?
