I think that you meant " You can catch more flies with sugar, than with
vinegar", but you said "You can catch more flies than with vinegar."
Anyway, I understood, and in certain cases, believe in what you said.
However, in this case, the Powerful are over running the weak, intentionally,
and they know it, and they don't CARE ... Because they feel that they're
superior people, and can win with their money & power! And hey, so
far they ARE winning, because almost no one is opposing them!
So, if you have been in Asbury for 30 Years, you mean that you're not offended
by having Asbury Partners just come in with a Contract that was written by a
Confessed Federal Felon (Terry Weldon), along with our Redevelopment Attorney,
Aaron, who's under investigation, and for the Fishmans to use this Contract to
get whatever they want, and with them giving virtually NOTHING back to the
City, or it's People? That really doesn't bother you at all? OK!
And my point about the Rent Control article was that
You mentioned progressive politics. I campaigned for Dennis Kucinich
which is one of the most progressive, and best, Democrats in the Country.
And he's for almost everything am, and more! Right now he has a
Bill in Congress to end this Crap new War that
If you've been here as long as you have, then you should know what's going
on! But if you do not, then you will when they force YOU out of
Asbury! Just like they're doing to everyone in
Ann Coulter not only a moron, but she makes up out right lies, and blows them
out of proportion to the MAX! That's the way the Republicans have taken
over control of almost everything. They bought up 99% of the Media, and leave
OUT true news about humanitarian and Liberal things, and replace it with
twisted propaganda about their stuff. They're right NOW trying to eliminate ALL
NPR Radio and T, which is the LAST truthful outlet for real News IN our
Country! There's a Bill in Congress right NOW, which emanates from Bush,
that would eliminate virtually any & all funding for NPR! That's the
equivalent of taking away Radio Free Europe back in WWII!
If you haven't, go to Dennis Kucinich's Congressional Campaign Site, and see
what he's for. I haven't been on it since he switched Campaigns from the
national one to re-running for Congress.
So, you don't really know who's now running this City, huh? And I mean
the ones pulling all the strings, not the Council, Mayor & City Manager who
just say "Yes", "OK" to the real bosses!
