The state pays more like 90% of the school budget. Add in everything 
else that comes in and disappears, it is more like 150%.
 That's because it's an Abbot district (a failed one at that). Look at 
long branch, their residents (property owners) pay 25% of the school 
budget. At least they have SOMETHING to show for it. Even the kids that 
go there now are getting more excited.

AP owners don't really realize it that they DO NOT contribute a "FAIR" 
share to the education system of their own town. 

I've seen over the years people have tried, but given ONE BILLION 
dollars and nothing to show. As of now, I beleive (could be wrong) you 
have one of the WORST performing ABBOTT districts as far as graduation 
rates. Will it improve in 11 years? HOw much more - another $8billion 
dollars of STATE money?
