Thanks for the patch. I have passed it on to Ben Allan for review. I
would be curious to know if something strange is happening perhaps at
the parser stage that's causing this double-listing of NOTES, so maybe
this patch still doesn't fix the bug at its source. We'll look further
into it.

So you succeeded in getting ASCEND to build, right? If there was any
difficulty please let us know -- we'll update the wiki or whatever.

We'll be very interested in any model contributions you're able to make.
I note that in the case of dynamic systems we have some new
contributions that make the syntax significantly better, but that's not
merged into the trunk yet, and will need a little more work in
particular so that it works correctly with the IDA solver. That's Dante
Stroe's stuff from GSOC2009. Might be good to try to fix that before
getting too heavily into setting up a big library of dynamic models.
