Hi Grivan

Good stuff! Comments below:

Double check that you don't have an old copy of 'libascend.so' somewhere
on your system. If the old trunk copy is being loaded, then you won't
actually be using the dante code, which could give this error. If that's
not the problem then I'm not sure -- let me know and I'll try it myself.

I think that such methods might not be particularly applicable, although
it's a while since I studied all that stuff.

I think that such approaches might be interesting for oscillating
systems, but we're most interested in systems like solar energy systems
where there is a transient and relatively random input signal in the
time domain.

The 'Simulation' tab already allows the variables to be viewed... or are
you referring to something else.

We've considered an in-built editor in the past, but I think the
conclusion was that there is a lot of other more important 'basic'
functionality that we should worry about first... eg stuff like saving
results and plotting results for a range of simulation cases, etc. There
are plenty of external editors that do the job very well, so I thought
that this task was not very important.

That's great. I think that you're on track -- you're getting involved
and giving your ideas, etc. Keep it up. We're working on the
'application template' at the moment, as soon as that's ready we'll
write a message to this mailing list.

Cheers
