Hi Thomas, Depends on what you actually want to do with that text. Did you want it literal? If so use .... and the [ is not processed. You could also look at the other pre-defined blocks if literal does too little processing, see http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/userguide.html#_predefined_delimited_blocks for a table of the substitutions. Or you can use the passthrough block with [subs=...] to specify what processing you need, see http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/userguide.html#X76 Cheers Lex > > But it fails since the [ is part of the asciidoc language > > asciidoc: ERROR: filterrecords.txt: line 43: illegal style name: (] <'basic > form'> <'logical operator'> <'basic form'> [) > > If have tried to escape it with \, but then \ just shows up in the final > document. > > Sincerly > Thomas Christensen > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "asciidoc" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/asciidoc?hl=en. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "asciidoc" group.
