Here is asciidoc 8.6.7-1, fop 1:1.1.dfsg-2ubuntu1, docbook-xsl 1.78.1+dfsg-1, evince 3.10.0-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit. Can you post yours ? Asciidoc does fiddle somehow with the docbook XSL stylesheet, as visible in /etc/asciidoc/docbook-xsl/ .
