I imported the contents of the vim folder from the asciidoc repository and preserved the history. I also put together a rudimentary README, taking content on the subject from the AsciiDoc Python manual. https://github.com/asciidoc/vim-asciidoc Now it's time to start updating this to something we actually want to use. If we need more folders (for things like ftplugin) feel free to add them. The idea is that this repository is the structure of a vim plugin (also allows it be consumed by tools like pathogen and vundle). I'm not really concerned about how the AsciiDoc support works, so long as it works. I'll remind the list that it seems we still have a lingering performance issue for large AsciiDoc files. Perhaps that's something that has been addressed by Alex, Dag or others. That's great. There's also a request to have folding for AsciiDoc syntax. I'm not sure if anyone has done support for that yet, but I know that many people have asked for it. Most recently, https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor/issues/1325.
