This list is more about the original Python implemenation (which is no
longer actively developed).

The asciidoctor implemenation (in Ruby) is actively developed, and they are
working on creating an AsciiDoc markup language standard under the aegis of
the Mozilla Foundation:

The Asciidoctor discussion list <https://discuss.asciidoctor.org/> is
probably where you should be asking standards-related questions.
