for this go through the chapters defining the operations in the earlier
chapters of MAP specifications that clearly define what is the purpose of
each operation and between which network nodes are they meant for.
Or for more detailed call-flows you can refer to ETSI 23.018 specifications.

Vishal.

Hi,

Thanks for all the answers. Still have some doubts.

In TCAP/MAP ASN.1 standard documentation there are:
- Operation packages like
locationUpdatingPackage-v3  OPERATION-PACKAGE ::= {
 CONSUMER INVOKES {
  updateLocation}
 SUPPLIER INVOKES {
  forwardCheckSs-Indication} }

which I don't know what are them for, how to use them and in what module
should be defined?

thanks,
Eduardo Figoli
