I know that this doesn't fit with the guidelines of the group but I thought that since this is for helping those in need that it would be ok for a one time post. Plus, I've been a member here for a while and I'm not the type to just do this kind of thing.
To be blunt, I'm sending this e-mail for a ministry I've been working with that is trying to raise money for Hurricane Victims. I'm sending the below Press Release to those that people that I know in a hopes that they will be able to share it with others that might have an immediate need for ink. Again, I apologize if this offends anyone. I just have a lot of friends and family down there that are in serious need of help and very few people have the discretionary funds to just donate. Thanks, Chris Help AccessInk.org Help Hurricane Victims AccessInk.org, a Georgia based nonprofit is offering consumers a way to purchase Printer Ink and Paper supplies at a significant discount and at the same time contribute directly to disaster relief for hurricane victims. For every purchase completed between October 2004 and the end of January 2005 AccessInk.org will donate 75% of the of the suggested donation amount to provide disaster relief for hurricane victims. Money will be used for: 1. temporary housing 2. repairs and reconstruction of homes 3. medicine 4. food and much more. The money will be disbursed through the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and Disaster Relief of the North American Mission Board who cook the food for the Red Cross as well as other organizations which may be identified. AccessInk.org is also kicking off its own Community Support strategy. My (Rev. Siam Rogers, President AccessInk.org) personal roll during 9/11 at ground zero has lead us to do so. The holidays are upon us and Christmas is right around the corner. Our goal is to raise 30 million and we feel this is a very easy and simple goal if 1 million people (consumers) would purchase their Ink and Paper supplies through AccessInk.org. AccessInk.org can supply, upon request, a detailed press release about our disaster relief ministry. We are also available for radio and television interviews.
