Baruah Sahab,
You are 100% right--nobody discussed in the media YET..
Yours truly said this all along 1970 on--but unteacheable Sorkaris won't
listen.
After my brother Chan introduced me onto NASA sites I cofirmed MY intuition
through Floodtime and dry-season ISS Photos.
Basics on "Solid-carrying capacity of fluids" and of "Stream vs
Sedimentation " confirm my understanding that * all River Islands will keep
growing with passing years
                           * all meanders will erode and collapse /advance
inland at convex apices.
The answer is a "First-ever correctioning". Will behave good for millenia.
Presented this to Govt of Assam to present to Manmohan.
Texas Water Expert and his IAS In- Law and others strangled my presentation.
They may not have the last laugh.
