So, now for the sake of peace, we should condone something that is wrong.
The moral question that comes to mind is:
Does Assam need peace at that cost? Or does the GOI need to condone all wrongs so as to achieve some closure to the NE problems.
What quality will that peace be? What quality will that closure be?
I am young (??), but still am from the old school where it was believed whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong.

I don't know whether she supports ULFA's programs and
policies - C'Da says she does not. But from what
little I have read in the Indian newspapers, she does
support peace in Assam now with conviction and force.
And if that is true, there is no inconsistency in her
stand. She is being a pragmatists and saying one ought
not to lose sight of what needs to be done now.
