Dear all,
Presently I am preparing a national skill development policy, if every thing
goes well in line, the GOI will set up ITI level institute at every block and
every district will have a engineering/ technical institute with public-private
partnership for a estimated population of 100 million(10 crore) by 2015. The
CII have already prepared industry wise requirement of skill manpower in
collaboration of the Planning commission by 2015. I hope every one could
understand why we need such technical institutes.
Please avoid who try to give sudden expert comment on such issues. If any one
plans a technical institute in certain place, it is a very welcoming vision for
the growth of the economy and that particular place. I also feel Tezpur needs a
NIT types institute. Any one if any idea, can share.
Regards
Biswajeet

Hi Buljit,
Nice to know your concern towards Dhemaji and Initiative taken regarding the
establishment of an ENGINEERING COLLEGE in Dhemaji.
Being from a neighbouring place to Dhemaji I to wish some act of Development
in the flood stricken District of Dhemaji. But is that how we wish
development...?Will that be of any use if our so called "ENGINEERING COLLEGE"
will be merged under water for months and some unfair politicians & contractors
will take advantage of it...?Is it not that?See itz happenening in every corner
of Assam...Govt. has enough budjet for ROADS & EMBANKMENTS yet what our
corrupted officials reserves 25% of the money alotted for themselves,50% taken
by the contractors and out of 25% left work starts in such a way that we're
still puzzled about the word DEVELOPMENT....?
Before starting a new option for CORRUPTION in the name of DEVELOPMENT,let
wake up our people and make them DEVELOPED first...atleast not to get BLIND
FOLDED every time either by the politicians or the BIG figures among us.
