Yes, I do agree as an Assamese (Axomiya) that one should present an alternative
analysis to counter an analysis..because only that way it adds value.

The point here is…what we are analyzing and why we are analyzing… at this
juncture we must think whether we are or will be able to add value by
re-analyzing an analysis which itself has little meaning for a society which is
already on the verge of total devastation…Lets think on it first before going
on to further discuss any such topics concerning social up-liftment, society,
social evils, social injustice etc..etc..etc..

At some point, we (I mean we, who are so called educated, civilized and
analytical human beings) will certainly realize that by these sort of analysis
we are actually contributing nothing to the so called united Axomiya
society..but yes, we are providing good quality fuels for the electronic and
print-media. That’s a good sign as all we as an Assamese (Axomiya) can do is to
use our constructive energy and writing skills to cover up our own shortfalls.

Few of us must have given a serious thought or tried to analyze or at least
spent few precious moments out of our daily rat race thinking..”which direction
we are heading actually..??!!”..We must analyze and re-analyze that first at
this juncture…Yes, some of us do analyze and at least tend to be quite
analytical as can be evidenced from what we express in the electronic and
printed media or in public gatherings where we leave no stone unturned to
demonstrate our writing and oratory skills…and as an Assamese (Axomiya) we are
all part of that…!

We are actually wasting and depleting our constructive energy by arguing on and
analyzing some very sensitive topics for a society which is already on the
verge of depletion itself. As we say in Akhomiya..”Gorur agat tukari bai..kaan
jukari ghaah khai..”..Extremely sorry as I am hurting sentiments here…but have
no choice but to reveal the truth..and remember I am also one of you.

God has created us equal but who cares…!!??..We are there to create
unequalities and discrimination…One must not think that I am supporting any
individual or group or against someone by putting up this topic in the forum.
What I am trying to express is that if we can not change ourselves we have no
right to complain what we are facing. Each and every individual (here I am
referring to the members of the Axomiya society particularly) has to change his
attitude towards his/her fellow Assamese, try to trust and respect others and
other’s sentiments first. Then only if somehow we have enough luck, we might be
able to save our Akhomiya society from witnessing a total elimination from the
map of the earth, which I feel at this juncture has little hope.

Few characteristics of the modern Assamese society as per this Axomiya:

    * We discriminate and try to take leverage by cutting short other’s legs
and it is not altered by how many so called higher degrees or certificates we
have managed to gather as a part of our so-called formal education.
    * We are prone to stick and tend to get shallow self-satisfaction by
digging into our past and lost glory. We are a society which is very proud to
quote statements of our forefathers but unwilling to see the path to a
progressive society. We like to keep on embracing our past (irrespective of
cast and creed). Sluggish we are..!
    * We prefer to talk of social up-liftment but don’t want to discuss and
give serious thought over industrialization. We are prone to slow down any
positive step by putting forward topics like environmental issues (of course
this is important) and employment of locals and their interests etc..etc..!

Let’s think on it..and at least I m going to think and hope we spend our
valuable time & energy addressing root causes of current problems rather than
repenting over spilt milk (again here I am surely hurting sentiments..but have
no choice..!..).

Let us say that Kaushik Barua's purpose of writing is "not to cover up CM
Gogoi and police officer Patangia thru his writing".

Then it would be interesting to know what Kaushik Barua has to say about:

       1. why CM Gogoi ordered a judicial probe within 12 hours after gunning
down the two Geleki Gogois?
       2. why CM Gogoi needed 9 days to ordered a judicial probe for Budheswar
Moran?
       3. why CM Gogoi did not (or yet to) ordered judicial probes for
Vaishnavs' murderers under the jurisdiction of Garshuk PS, officer in-charge
Mr. Patangia, though the first murder took place in January?

My suggestion is that one should present an alternative analysis to counter
an analysis, because that way it adds value.

Note that if CM Gogoi would have ordered a judicial probe for the first
Vaishnav murder under the jurisdiction of police officer Patangia in January,
the most recent murder of other 2 Vaishanav could have been preented.
Similarly, there would not have been 8 more deaths after Moran.

    Thanks,

How ridiculous and cheap this kind of analysis appears in this age of
globalization, when people are transcending the barriers of caste, religion and
nationality. Even though this is a democratic country and everyone has the
right to express their own views/perspectives, this kind of
analysis/justifications based on caste, creed and regionalism should be
severely condemned and discouraged, as this will initiate nothing else but
further hatred and division of our society.

    Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi:
    non-Ahom native-Assamese & Kamrupi murders in Assam

In Geleki Sivsagar when CISF jawans gunned down 2 youths Chief Minister
Tarun Gogoi has ordered a judicial probe into the incident within less than 12
hours of the death. Here the two local youths gunned down were Nilikesh Gogoi
and Bhulu Gogoi.

to see how the killer has been taken to Sivsagar Court:

While the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles making him a fake-ulfa murdered the
twenty-four- year-old Tea Garden Night Watch Man Buddheswar Moran on May 5, the
same Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi had not ordered a judicial probe into
the incident within less than 12 hours. Instead he waited and continued to
watch more deaths - at least eight deaths were reported during the protest.

The Chief Minister has ordered a judicial probe to the murder of Buddheswar
Moran on May 14. This was 9 days apart, as opposed to 12 hours in case of
Geleki's Gogois

Ahom history reveals that Ahom rulers discriminated/ punished Moran people.

Two examples of Kamrupi murders Tarun Gogoi yet to order judicial probes:

       1. In January Assam Police picked a Vaishnav boy (Sarma, a bipra boy,
Narayani Vaishnav) from Mazkhowa while came to Guwanati from Tangal (greater
Kamrupi land) to buy stuff for his Gelamaal Dokaan. Then the police (Garshuk
police station, near Mazkhowa) let him go near Nepali Pahar and then shot him
to death - Assam Police made him a fake-ulfa.
       2. Most recent after Guwahati bomb blast, Assam Police took off two
Vaishnav boys from a bus and shot to death once again near Garshuk police
station - here too Assam Police made both of them fake-ulfa. They were both
from Shimla (greater Kamrupi land) and were day labour in Guwahati.

Current Garshuk Polis Station Officer Incharge is a Ahom (Patangia) man as
well.

        * Is Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi a icon of Ahom ruler that he must
discriminate and watch more deaths if victims were not Ahom?
        * Or is Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi abusing Ahom Wisdom?
        * Or is Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi availing OBC quota here?
        * Can people forgive ISI Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi ?

    Abbreviation:
    OBC - Other Backward Class
    ISI - Inconsistently- low-morale native-asSamese Individual
    CM - Chief Minister

It appears as if OBC ISI Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi prioritizes Ahom
population of Assam and protects them.

    Thanks for reading,

    Rabin
