Folks,

Please! We have to stop fighting amongst ourself
for the greater good of the assamese society which
includes different kinds of people of different
ethnicity & culture. But we speak the same language.
The topic under discussion may or maynot be deliberate
from the CM's part. We don't know. It would be wrong
to assume anything - people who says he did & people
who says he didn't. Only thing we cannot be sarcastic
& start compartmentalising people. Sarcastic talks
from both parties makes the picture biased. Biased
picture is not true & leads to compartmentalising
people. The language of discussion can make a big
difference.
I will cite an example which happened on my last
visit to India. I met the Asom soccer team in Santosh
Trophy in Delhi ( Asom became the national champion in
national games ). The team have Das's, Bodo's,
Konwar's, Rongpi's( Karbi ). I said to one of the Bodo
lad - "Ami nijar majat kajiya kori thakote, bideshi
ahi bharti hoi gol". He replied - "Agar din Nai". We
both realised the futility of fighting amongst ourself
during the discussion.

We have to ignore small differences amongst ourself
& stop being sarcastic. Ofcourse, issue of constant
favouratism should be raised but in a civilized
non-sarcastic dispassionate way for a clear picture
without being biased.

So, here is an appeal to all in this forum not to
bring up any topic which will divide us, atleast not
in a sarcastic way from both parties.

Thanks,
Nabanjan ( Nabanjan Das ).
