Sure. Two ECB's would do the trick but you'll have to wait on both of them using ECBLIST= on the WAIT macro. But the reason I suggest one queue/ECB with an element type code indicating end of job is that this element would act as a flusher to insure all work elements were processed before the subtask encountered the end of job request.
