It has always seemed odd to me, though, that one can have guard pages at the low end of a 64-bit space, or at the high end, but not both. Wouldn't it would be more logical, and more useful, to allow both?! A different syntax would be needed on the IARV64 macro, of course. But if you want to guard against overflowing an area, surely it's desirable to be able to guard at both ends of the area.
