It does not say so (*1) and there is a bit in each sample that says LPAR
was in wait.

That is very well possible, but I doubt that. I am leaning
towards a very simple basic error.

(*1) at least I did not stumble over something in that direction. The
book that documents CPU-MF is only 38 pages and half of it is about the
counter (not sampling)
