And, the "problems" are not just limited to C source code. There is a thread on IBM-MAIN right now about UNIX-style command operands being case sensitive. The OP used -o (lowercase "oh") instead of -O (uppercase "oh") and was so puzzled by the results (lack of compiler optimization) that he posted a query to IBM-MAIN.
