I only hope the bug was repaired.

As a more applications-oriented programmer than systems-oriented, I
find this strengthens my wish for an IGVINITGETMAIN-like facility
with ASID scope which could meet some of my needs for testing purposes
without dirupting or endangering other operations.  But, yes, this
must be balanced against the cost of implementation.
