Sorry, I looked at the z/VM description by accident ...
the z/OS description has the SCOPE parameter as well as the SVC 48
description ...
my fault
Kind regards
Bernd

Subject: DEQ Macro
Hello List,
I am working on some very old code ...
I just came across a DEQ macro call, and I had to change it to MF=L / MF=E
because of SIIS issues. Now I recognized that the former coder (in 1985
ca.)
coded a 4th sub-parameter SYSTEMS on the first parameter - which is
allowed (and relevant)
on ENQ, but not on DEQ - if I read the documentation correctly.
Because DEQ shares the parameter handling with the ENQ macro, this
sub-parameter
is not flagged and causes different code generation for the option
parameter of the SVC 48.
Now my question: will this option simply be ignored by SVC 48 ?
Can I omit the SYSTEMS sub parameter, or should I leave the macro call
(wrong) as it is ?
Did something go wrong in the past ?
Kind regards
Bernd
