ok, you made your point <g> but let me put things straight; first of
all I *never* wrote that implementing "hashcash" should be a "we
MUST do it"; then, I wrote that such an idea won't probably be
suitable for the single-threaded series while it may fit into the
multi-threaded one, and, to conclude, I was just discussing an
idea to find out pros/cons and nothing more; if it isn't worth or
valid, well, I've no problem with that, but at least we discussed
about it and such discussions in other cases may result in some
improvements to ASSP, so imVHo they're worth

And... about "resources", if you think that ASSP is consuming too
much resources, try giving a spin to spamassassin (ensure to set
it up to do the "same" ASSP checks) then judge by yourself
