Mine is doing the same thing. If I try to stop the service, it just hangs and
never stops. Not sure what triggers the freeze. I went back to 1.5.1(RC
0.10.05)<http://www.magicvillage.de/%7EFritz_Borgstedt/assp/S06660E7E?WasRead=1>
 and no freezes...

Subject: [Assp-test] ASSP 1.5.1 rc Freezing

Having recently installed 1.5.1 rc11.0 my ASSP installation (running as a
service on Win SBS2003) has been freezing on a regular basis. I'm lucky if it
stays up for an hour. The symptoms...

- ASSP logging stops.
- No sessions are accepted.
- Web interface and stats i/f stop responding.
- perl.exe eats a constant 40-50% CPU (it's normally at 0-3%).
- Service fails to stop when sent a stop command.

Only recourse is to kill the perl.exe process and restart the service. There
are no clues that I can see in the logs - logging just stops, and there is
nothing unusual (or consistent) in the last few log entries before the freeze.
I also get the same behaviour from rc10.7. At this time, I have had rc10.5
running successfully for 2.5 hours, if that's anything to shout about.
