The default configuation of ASSP (V1/V2) would not have blocked this
mail.

I do not understand that you are saying, that whitelisting is not
working against this problem.
Whitelisting is the main tool against this and its working.
Greedy AutoWhitelisting and Whitelisting via Email-Interface IS
working.
