OK, I have another Newbie setup problem. I have brought ASSP online twice today for a few minutes to test. Same result both times.
I have all the boxes under TEST Mode checked. I change the port numbers to route mail through ASSP first. CPU usage falls dramatically. A quick check in the mailserver spool and ASSP stats shows mail flowing. Maillog shows mail being delivered. Email sent to another local address arrives. An email sent to my GMail account arrives. Reply from the GMail address arrives at my desk address. So far so good. I send mail from a second GMail acct that I haven't sent to. NO show. I stop SMTP and change Ports back to take ASSP out of the loop. When I check maillog.txt, the mail from the first GMail address is logged but the mail from the second GMail address doesn't show. Isn't TEST Mode supposed to let all mail through? What would cause ASSP to delete an email without logging? Most importantly, am I making another Newbie mistake?
