You can post logs in the message.

To clarify the issue:
You can sent an email to gmail from your domain, reply to that message 
from gmail, then reply to that from your domain and it all works?
But sending a message from gmail to your domain first does not work?

Under "Network Setup" enable "connection logging".
Then send another message from gmail, wait 10 min, then check the log 
and see what connections were accepted.
Do an nslookup on them and see if gmail was one of them.

If it was, see what followed that entry in the log.
If not, post some of the log here from when just before you sent from 
gmail till 10 min after.
